I have been a musician for over 30 years. I very much enjoy playing various types of music,.... from bluegrass, country, country rock, blues, rockin' blues, classic rock, to heavy rock as well.  Various bands and artists that have influenced me over the years include, Rolling Stones, Johnny Winter, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and Ten Years After as well as many, many others. I am also very appreciative of early blues singers and song writers, such as Muddy Waters and Robert Johnson. As far as bluegrass, I would have to say my favs are Tony Rice, Norman Blake......and of course, the Soggy Bottom Boys

    I enjoy recording music in my home, on my home recording studio.  Most of these recordings are "demos", and are not finished, mastered productions. I have written many songs for the purpose of publishing. You can google "Rickmercermusic" where you will find various links to my music online.....Youtube, Reverbnation and itunes. Playing many different instruments, as a songwriter, allows me to write all types of music. I hope you enjoy my music.
